Today was an unforgettable experience. We had the privilege of touring the majestic South Carolina Statehouse, delving into its storied past and pivotal role in shaping the state's governance. As we explored the historic halls and chambers, we were struck by the grandeur and significance of this iconic landmark. Engaging with lawmakers and staff, we gained valuable insights into the legislative process and the issues facing their state. From admiring the architectural splendor to witnessing democracy in action. The most valuable experience within was definitely getting the opportunity to talk and connect with various black state representatives.
